For many years I have worked professionally in the performing arts industry both on stage as a performer and in production as a director and choreographer for theatre and stage shows. Throughout this time I have been privileged with fantastic opportunities and had the chance to work with some great people, but the true inspiration behind creating Helen's Angels has come from the job satisfaction I have experienced through working with youngsters from different backgrounds and seeing the progress in their varying talents and abilities.
Along the way I have had the pleasure of working with some of the most creative and talented performers in the business who I consider to be experts in their field and these are the tutors and workshop facilitators I have handpicked for Helen's Angels to coach the youngsters on our course.
I have experienced performing arts colleges and musical theatre courses first hand and they offer excellent training in specific fields but I would like to enhance and extend that by giving our youngsters a taster of other opportunities that aren't always accessible in a standard drama school.
I feel it's important for a performer to understand and appreciate the other positions within their performance surroundings and to be able to work along side and interact professionally with their colleagues. This is why we aim to provide training to the highest standard based on our tutors professional experiences and driven by the students' individual goals.
